A man driving on the Massachusetts Turnpike saw a driver sleeping in the driver’s seat Sunday.

Dakota Randall says he saw a Tesla with its driver and traveler both sleeping around 3 p.m.

A driver on the Massachusetts Turnpike saw a driver in the path alongside him sleeping in the driver’s seat Sunday.

Dakota Randall says he was driving on Interstate 90 when he saw a Tesla with its driver and traveler both snoozing around 3 p.m. close to Exit 17 in Newton.

“I sort of investigated and saw what I thought was someone sleeping at the worst possible time and I resembled that can’t be correct, so I did a twofold take, investigated and sure enough this person was simply, head between his legs totally snoozing,” Randall disclosed to NBC10 Boston. “It appeared as though he had his journey control on around like 55-60 miles for every hour.”

Randall passed on paralyzed before destroying his telephone to record. He took a stab at sounding to wake the driver and traveler up yet says “it didn’t work by any means.”

Randall gauges he drove by the Tesla for around 45 seconds to a moment before accelerating and abandoning the dozing driver.

He later shared the video on Twitter, expressing, “Some person actually sleeping at the worst possible time on the Mass Pike (incredible spot for it). Teslas are wiped out, I presume?”

It’s not clear to what extent the Tesla driver and his traveler were sleeping for or when they woke up.

Randall says the vulnerability of how the circumstance unfurled is significantly scarier than seeing an oblivious driver. He presently has another point of view on how he’ll drive around self-driving vehicles.

“I’m never going to appear to be identical,” he said. “I’m continually going to hope to check whether someone’s sleeping.”
