Power Minister RK Singh said the central government is preparing fresh systems to assist the financially disadvantaged parts of society. The fresh system, called ‘ Annadata Banega Urjadata, ‘ seeks to allow producers to generate electricity from solar energy.
“Any farmer who has barren soil will be prepared to get a solar panel in his own farm or through a company. The state will purchase electricity from the farmer. This will also be achieved on productive soil and at least the peasants will be allowed to gain one lakh rupee per bigha,” Singh said.
There is a Rs 1.5 lakh income tax deduction on debts taken to purchase e-vehicles created arrangements for further tax relief for Indian people. A tax deduction of Rs 1.5 lakh was announced in the budget on borrowing to buy electric vehicles. To increase the use of electric vehicles, an extra Rs 1.5 lakh income tax deduction on interest paid on debts made to buy EVs has been suggested.
